Support my new album

My name is Davi Fonseca, I’m a musician from Belo Horizonte, and I’ve been trying everything for the past two years to record my next album. I applied for all the incentive laws since then, tried direct sponsorship, sought label support, and couldn’t get anything! This path has brought me to this crowdfunding campaign, which made Piramba, my first album, possible and brought me a lot of joy! We played on various cool stages, made it onto lists in Brazil and around the world, got featured in the Japanese press, became the soundtrack for Vogue Brazil, and I ended up making music with some of my big influences because of this work!

Since it worked the first time, I decided to give crowdfunding another try. My next album will be called VISEIRA, and the plan is to record it by December of this year and release it in the first half of next year.

I think because I started dreaming about this album during the pandemic, it has become a massive gathering of people, with 24 musicians, not to mention the rest of the team! That’s because I decided to bring together people I admire and create a colorful and multi-layered studio album! This time it will be an album of songs only! There will be eight songs, each with different instrumentation, and in this sonic color palette, we will have tuba, trombone, flute, clarinet, trumpet, LOTS of percussion, violin, cello, vibraphone, marimba, guitar, cavaquinho, Brazilian viola, mandolin, bass, drums, and, of course, pianos and keyboards. It’s quite a frenzy, and I’m very excited!

In addition to a dream team playing on the album, I will have four very special guest appearances: Xangai, Isaar, Artur Pádua, and Luiza Brina, who wrote the arrangement for one of the songs, in which she also plays guitars and sings with me.
